NDIS Personal Care Services

Personal activities are integral to maintaining independence and well-being, and VHCC is committed to providing personalised support in this area. Our NDIS services cover a wide range of personal activities, including assistance with hygiene, grooming, dressing, and medication management.

We understand the importance of preserving dignity and autonomy while ensuring that individuals receive the support they need to engage in daily routines and activities. Our compassionate support workers work closely with clients to develop tailored care plans.

Personal Care Activities We Assist With

Assistance with showering, bathing, and personal hygiene
Grooming — hair care, shaving, nail care, and skin care
Dressing and undressing, including management of clothing and footwear
Oral hygiene and dental care routines
Continence care and management
Medication prompts and management (within scope of practice)
Mobility assistance — transfers, positioning, and movement support
Assistance with eating and drinking

Who We Support

VHCC provides personal care assistance to participants across a range of disability types. All supports are delivered with dignity, respect, and a strong focus on participant choice and autonomy.

Physical Disability

Personal care supports for participants with physical disability, including mobility assistance, transfers, positioning, and assistance with all activities of daily living.

Neurological Conditions

Support for participants living with neurological conditions such as acquired brain injury, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and cerebral palsy.

Aged & Complex Care Needs

Compassionate personal care for participants with complex or high-intensity needs, delivered by appropriately trained staff with experience in complex presentations.

Psychosocial Disability

Person-centred personal care for participants living with mental health conditions and psychosocial disability, delivered with sensitivity, patience, and respect.
