Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the questions we hear most often. Can’t find what you need? Call or email us directly.

?How do I make a referral?

You can submit a referral online at vhcc.au/referral. We have two forms — one for Support Coordination and one for Support Services. Both take only a few minutes to complete.

?How quickly do you respond?

Our intake team responds to all enquiries within one business day. For urgent matters, please call your nearest office directly — NSW: 1300 459 701, Victoria & Ballarat: 1300 048 422.

?What areas do you service?

VHCC provides NDIS services across NSW (Maitland, Newcastle, Dubbo, Manning Base) and Victoria (Box Hill/Melbourne, Campbellfield, Ballarat, Shepparton, Bendigo). Contact us to confirm service availability in your area.

?Do I need an NDIS plan to access services?

In most cases, yes — VHCC is an NDIS-registered provider and most of our services are NDIS-funded. However, if you don't yet have a plan, we can point you in the right direction to get started with the NDIS.

?Can I self-refer?

Absolutely. Participants can refer themselves directly to VHCC. You don't need a support coordinator or GP to make a referral on your behalf.

?What languages do you support?

Our team includes staff who speak a range of languages to support participants from diverse cultural backgrounds. Contact us to ask about language support in your area.
